Terms & Conditions

Rental Policy

  • Driving License: Minimum validity of 12 months.
  • International Driving Permit is required for drivers outside the EU.
  • Age Limits:
    • Minimum 21 years for categories A, B.
    • Minimum 23 years for SUV, MINI VAN.
    • Maximum 80 years.
  • Young Driver Insurance: Available for ages 21–22.
  • Senior Driver Insurance: For ages 70–80.
  • Minimum Rental Duration: 24 hours.
  • Late Return: 1-hour tolerance, after that charged €10/hour.
  • Restricted Travel: The vehicle is not allowed to travel outside Crete.

Pick-Up/Drop-Off Policy

  • Check the vehicle, you have the right to take photos, verify its condition in every aspect.
  • Return the vehicle in the same condition you received it, with all tools, wheels, and accessories.
  • Vehicle Return Location: Return at the agreed location, otherwise cost €50–€120.

Insurance Options

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)

  • Included in the price.
  • Covers damages and theft with excess:
      • Group A, A1, B, B1: €400
      • Group C, C1, D, D1, E, E1: €500
      • Group F, F1, F2, G, G1, H, H1: €800

Zero Excess Coverage (ZE)

Reduces the excess to €0 with additional daily charge:

  • Group A, A1, B, B1: €0 (from €400)
  • Group C, C1, D, D1, E, E1: €0 (from €500)
  • Group F, F1, F2, G, G1, H, H1: €0 (from €800)

The Insurance does not cover the vehicle if:

  • It is driven by unauthorized persons.
  • The driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • The vehicle is used illegally or in races.
  • The accident is not reported within 12 hours.

Exclusions (CDW & ZE): Tires, lost keys, wrong fuel, underside of the vehicle, roof for open top vehicles.

Payment Policy

  • No credit card is required for booking.
  • Payments by card are processed securely through the Stripe platform.
  • Bank transfer: 25% deposit with the booking. The remaining amount must be paid 15 days before arrival.
  • Card authorization: Mandatory for all bookings. The card is not charged, but it is required for service provision.

Deposit and Refund Policy

Deposit is required at the start of the rental:

  • Group A, A1, B, B1: €400
  • Group C, C1, D, D1, E, E1: €500
  • Group F, F1, F2, G, G1, H, H1: €800

If you choose Zero Excess Coverage (ZE), the deposit is reduced to €120 for all categories.
Refunds: The deposit is returned within 5–15 days after return and vehicle inspection.
Violation of rental terms results in loss of the deposit.

Cancellation Policy

  • Full refund: Cancellation 15 or more days before the start of the rental.
  • 50% refund: Cancellation less than 15 days before.
  • No refund: Cancellation less than 7 days before or no show.

Violations & Fines Policy

  • The renter is responsible for all fines during the rental and is obliged to pay the amount.
  • In case of license plate confiscation:
    o We reserve the right to retain the deposit.
    o You are charged with replacement cost.
  • Fine payment: epay.chania.gr , epay.heraklion.gr Alternatively, we can handle the payment with a €20 fee.
  • Speed violations may lead to deposit retention.
  • Fines from cameras may arrive months later.

Fuel Policy

  • Return the vehicle with the same fuel level as at pick-up.
  • In case of less fuel:
    o €2.5/liter refueling cost
    o €20 service fee

Additional Services

(Extra charges apply)

  • Child Seats & Baby Seats:
    o Infant seat: Newborn to 12–15 months (~13 kg)
    o Child seat: 1–4 years (~9–18 kg)
    o Booster: 4–12 years (~15–36 kg)
    o Installation is the responsibility of the renter or guardian.
  • Additional Driver: Mandatory presence at pick-up.
  • 1-day rental (24 hours): Additional charge for pick up/drop off and cleaning.

Road Assistance / Accident Policy

  • Call the company and the police.
  • Do not accept any responsibility for the accident until liability is determined by the authorities.
  • Record with photos or video all necessary information about the accident, as well as the name of the other driver and vehicle license plate.
  • Inform the company within 12 hours of the accident.
  • Road Assistance Available 24/7.
  • Unlimited basic support (+30 6946694905) What’s up available on daily coverage.

Restricted Areas Policy

Loss of insurance and deposit if you drive in restricted areas:

  • Balos
  • Spatha Cape
  • Seitan Limania
  • Kedrodasos

100€ fine for entering restricted area. Map available upon request.

  • Your data security is our priority.
